Grapes and Ghosts Wine Tours
Our .6 mile guided Grapes and Ghosts Wine Tour takes guests to five different locations in Dahlonega’s square where they will be able to taste wine while listening to stories about our town’s distinctive history and haunted tales from each stop.
Our first stop will be Dahlonega Tasting Room. As the oldest tasting room in the square, guests will get to experience its distinctive history which lends to a few spine chilling paranormal accounts, all while tasting wines from Habersham Winery.
On our second stop, meet Sara the resident ghost who haunts Naturally Georgia and Awakenings Gallery. Sara even has her own wine cup and has a habit of making wine disappear!
Next, we will visit the Conner House. Guests will experience the award winning sweet wines of Georgia Winery of Dahlonega. Former residents tell of goblets flying and store items moving.
At our last stop, visitors will be taken to a guest favorite, Canvas and Cork, a wine tasting room that doubles as an art gallery and hotel. With its already inimitable ambience, Canvas and Cork holds a past well known to the locals as the Stanton Storehouse built in 1884.
Guests must be 21 or older and have their I.D. with them for each stop. Alcohol is not included in the ticket price. This is an indoor tour. Please allow approximately 3 hours for the tour to be concluded. But above all, have fun!
